SophieRed Onshore Restaurant at Jasaan

p1230150

Hello everyone! This afternoon I am gonna share you about the NEWEST resort in my hometown. Yes, at Jasaan! See, I am always excited to share something new about my hometown.

I visited SophieRed Hotel and Onshore Restaurant with my friend just last week to just – anyway – kill the boredom of a non-working day. Aside from that,  there are already a lot of people who visited and had broadcast about this place, that made me really curious about and decide to visit it myself.

We commuted and rode a “rela” going in the place which is located at Bobontugan, Jasaan and just paid 14.00Php for the two of us. The resort is very accessible, for visitors can see a very big signage and it is just located nearby the road.

The sun was shining brightly and because we went there by mid nine in the morning, the heat are easily pricking through our skin but once we get inside, lo and behold, it is indeed a — paradise.

We paid entrance fee and took a lot of pictures before getting inside the restaurant. Never did I forget that famous pathway made up of wood I have seen in several photos in social media. So, there I am. Hehe.

We are met with wide smiles of the resort staff, and was even shocked by a pronouncement of “Nag-unsa ka dinhi, IRENE?!” LOL. Laughing though, I found out it was Ms. Christine Jardin who was a classmate of mine back elementary years. She manages the dining section of the resort. Whoa, I can remember the years where my classmates and I are still playing “Sun, Moon, Earth” in our elementary school years back and look now, I was always amazed when I get to meet my old classmates succeed in their line of profession.

We dine inside and just took a light lunch. Their Pancit Guisado is so delicious. There are a lot more that I have seen in the menu. There are some faves of mine – Sisig, Seafood and several others.

I have also observed that their waiters and waitresses are so polite, even explaining about each dish. I also think that this resort has absorbed Hotel and Restaurant Management interns. It is so nice though how the resort address its corporate and social responsibility of extending their services to the academes.

So guys, I am encouraging you to visit this place. Its hotel is set to open on the start of 2017. I am as well — even more than excited to revisit again and experience their Water Sports Offerings (My goodness! I learned it will be opened before this year ends!). The entrance fee up to this press time is P100.00 per person for those who wish to take photos and use the pool. However, if you will dine inside, well, you don’t have to pay that galleon. Just tell the personnel that you will eat inside, so she won’t charge you that rate. We made a mistake of paying a hundred and dine inside, then found out that we don’t have to pay for the entrance fee. Good thing, the resort is so considerate we had our two hundred back.

Hello! As of press time, they are still completing the hotel. About the accommodation, there are a lot of traveler’s inn near Jasaan. Just like Basamanggas’ Hotel, and also little ones in Villanueva. I am not just sure if the latter can cater a number of participants. For contact, Sophiered’s Facebook is responsive. The last time I went to Sophiered, the entrance for pool is still 100Php. Their hotel isn’t completed yet, but you can find nearby traveler’s inn or hotels such as at Basamanggas’ Resort.

Hello! Thank you for dropping by. Of course, you have to pay entrance fee especially that you have to use the pool. When I went, it is required to pay for entrance of P100.00. I am just not sure if the same rate is needed. Please visit their official Facebook account na lang. Here: facebook.com/dawnponferrada

If you mean if there is entrance fee even mangaon and picture-taking, I think wala, given muadto mo sa resto. But if picture-taking alone, naa siya but siguro minimal lang.
